About

I am a story collector at heart. I have a B.A. in Psychology and completed Medical School with a residency in Family Medicine. I then specialized, doing a fellowship in Palliative Medicine to become a Hospice & Palliative Care Doctor. I consider it a privilege to spend time with families and patients at the end of life, hearing their stories, fears, and joys while tending to physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

I have always been eager to understand the complexities of human health, personality, and spiritual truths. My quest to learn is matched only by the desire to pass on these thoughts and ideas.

Whether I’m writing, learning or teaching about end of life topics or spiritual concepts, the goal is the same; to open a door to new insights, new experiences, or new stories that will encourage us to learn from each other.
