Welcome
In whatever way you found yourself on this page – I am glad you are here. This website is my way of collecting pieces of myself – writings, artwork, and teachings. If you wonder who I am, I am many things: a seeker of understanding with an introspective slant, as well as a curious explorer of persons, ideas, and experiences.
I have a B.A. in Psychology and an M.D. from the University of Kansas School of Medicine, with a residency in Family Medicine and a fellowship in Palliative Medicine.
I am an author, a speaker, a teacher.
I am a mom, a wife, a friend.
I am a doctor, an artist, a contemplative.
Whether I’m writing about end-of-life topics or spiritual concepts, the goal is the same; to open the door to new insights, new experiences, or new stories that will encourage us to learn from each other.
